I’m currently enjoying a fallow season to prepare for the next growing period.
In the meantime, you may be able to catch me occasionally on my blog.
My work focuses on experiencing our lives as rich with opportunities to live creatively, transforming what is in need of healing, and making more conscious choices.
Over the past decade, I have offered individual consultations and workshops for people seeking to embrace their lives with greater creativity and consciousness.
I’m committed to exploring creative ways to meet the unknown. In 2006, I completed a PhD on listening in conflict, after studying a Masters in Conflict Resolution, following an undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology. As well as teaching and learning in conflict communication, storytelling and creative processes as an adult educator. I have also worked in applied communication including stints as a technical writer for Cochlear and in cabin crew communications at Qantas. As a freelance and academic writer I have had pieces published in journals, magazines and newspapers as well as book chapters.
As an educator, I have taught at RMIT, La Trobe and Victoria universities in Melbourne and learned and taught at the International School of Storytelling at Emerson College, UK, as well as ‘In the belly of the whale’ school in New Zealand, and I’ve studied and taught in the Steiner education system. I have presented at conferences in Australia, New Zealand, and internationally especially on listening.
